Chamber celebrated milestone with ribbon cutting
It was April 2020 when Miley Masiongale opened Southern Dreams Bakery (SDB) in Byrdstown. Two years later, the bakery, along with the Byrdstown-Pickett County Chamber of Commerce (chamber), celebrated that milestone and the opening of a second location with a ribbon cutting.
“Today, the Byrdstown-Pickett County Chamber of Commerce celebrates a ribbon cutting along with Albany/Clinton County Chamber of Commerce to congratulate Miley’s Grand Opening for Southern Dreams Bakery’s second location,” said the Chamber.
SDB was thankful for the support.
“Thank you so much to the Albany/Clinton County Chamber of Commerce and the Byrdstown/ Pickett County Chamber of Commerce for our Ribbon cutting ceremony,” the bakery said in a statement. “We really appreciate all the support we have received!”
During the celebration SDB held raffles and giveaways. SDB, located at 150 Skyline Drive in Byrdstown, is open 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday Thursday and Friday and 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m Wednesday and Saturday.
