Business Has Served the Upper Cumberland Hardwood Industry For More Than 85 years
(UCBJ) – Winell Lee Mouldings and Hardwoods, a family-owned business spanning five generations, recently celebrated the grand opening of its new warehouse and showroom at 10325 Old Baxter Road in Baxter. For more than 85 years, the company has supplied mouldings, flooring, staircases, custom wood products and related materials throughout the Upper Cumberland and beyond.
“Opening this new showroom and warehouse in Baxter carries extra meaning for the Winell Lee family, as it brings them back to where their story started over eight decades ago,” according to information released by the company.
The grand opening ceremony included a prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance and the national anthem.
“It was a heartfelt moment for a family proud to be celebrating alongside America’s 250th anniversary year,” according to the company.
Guests also viewed live Festool tool demonstrations and learned more about “ Its Wood”, a thermally modified wood product designed for long-term durability and built for a lifetime of use.
“Congratulations to the Winell Lee family on your new space,” the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce said.
