Contest Highlights Tennessee-Made Products and The Industries Behind Them
(UCBJ) – Nominations are now open for the 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee contest, according to a release. The annual competition showcases the products, innovation and manufacturing talent found across the Volunteer State.
The contest allows Tennesseans to nominate standout products made in their communities, including:
- Food and beverages
- Vehicles
- Machinery
- Appliances
- Advanced technologies
“From food and beverages to vehicles, machinery, appliances and advanced technologies, the 2026 Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee contest highlights the very best products made across the Volunteer State. It’s a chance to elevate Tennessee manufacturing and showcase the high-skill careers powering it forward,” according to the release.
After nominations close, the competition will move through several rounds of public voting. Organizers say the contest continues to gain momentum following the 2025 event, which generated:
- 95,000 votes cast
- 338,000 website views
- More than 100 product nominations
- An estimated 88 million people reached
- 181 media mentions
