The improving number is a part of a statewide trend

Unemployment showed improvement in all 14 Upper Cumberland counties in February.

Warren County dropped to 3% last month. Elsewhere in the Upper Cumberland, Cannon County sits at 2.5%, down from 3% last month, while Clay drops to 3.9% in February. Cumberland County sat at 4.1% last month and DeKalb County landed at 3.5%, down from 4.4% in November.

Fentress dropped to 2.9% from 3.9% a month ago while Van Buren landed at 3.4%. Jackson County stands at 3.7%, and Macon County’s number dropped from 2.8% to 2.4%.

Overton landed at 3.3% while Putnam sits at a 2.9%, down from 3.7% in November. Smith landed at 2.8%. White County sits at 3.3% while Pickett dropped from 5% in January to 4.1% last month and White County landed at 2.9%.
