Job opening posted on UCDD website
Cookeville – The Upper Cumberland Development District is hiring for a new Director of Small business development and looks to fill the position in January.
The job opening was posted on the UCDD website.
“The Director of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center will oversee the operations, budget, and strategy for the TSBDC in compliance with the TSBDC-TTU Annual Contract and the TSBDC Strategic Plan,” according to the website. “The Director is responsible for establishing relationships with stakeholders in the territory, maintaining existing partnerships in our traditional territory and ensuring a positive and impactful presence from the TSBDC.”
The director will oversee day-to-day operation, budget and strategy for the TSBDC while providing business counseling, extensive business development support and developing a business or strategic plan.
The UCDD says it is looking for someone with a bachelors degree and entrepreneurial experience. Interested applicants should complete an online application HERE or submit a resume to careers@ucdd.org.
