COOKEVILLE – Part four of our four-part series on real estate in 2020 focuses on residential properties. 2020 was a banner year for Putnam County real estate with two houses selling for over the $1 million mark, and a third house sale topping that mark but not getting the transaction recorded in time to make the 2020 list. With the top 10 house sales all eclipsing $700,000, it is safe to say that Putnam County real estate is now comparable to that in the suburbs of Tennessee’s major metropolitan cities.

Other parts in a four-part series explore the biggest real estate transactions in commercial, multifamily residential and development/agricultural properties in Putnam County and can be seen at the following links.

Part 1 of 4: Commercial real estate’s biggest transactions of 2020

Part 2 of 4: Multifamily residential real estate’s biggest transactions of 2020

Part 3 of 4: Development and agricultural real estate biggest transactions of 2020
