It is a client focused delivery that makes the difference

The role is to cultivate new business opportunities, support deposit relationships and expand SmartBank’s client’s treasury management services.

Rachel Garcia has taken on the challenge of becoming SmartBank’s new Treaury Management Officer, and SmartBank is thrilled.

“We’re thrilled to have Rachel join our team as we continue growing in the Chattanooga market. Her industry background and local market knowledge will be invaluable assets to both the bank and our clients,” said Cortney Pierce, Senior Vice President and Director of Treasury Management.

Garcia’s experience, including a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Bryan College in 2018, allows for a “comprehensive understanding” of the organization’s operations, according to a release by the company. She was once Deposit Operations and Treasury Manager.

It is a client focused delivery that makes the difference, according to SmartBank.

“I’m excited to join SmartBank in this role,” said Garcia. “The bank’s unwavering dedication to its clients, community, and employees sets it apart in the industry, and I’m eager to contribute to its continued growth.”

Garcia’s degree emphasis was in marketing and management, and she earned her master’s degree in business administration in 2020.
