New business registrations ticked upward for the month
Cookeville – The following is a list of the 75 new businesses licensed in Putnam County for March 2022. There were 65 new retail businesses licensed, along with 10 manufacturing/services businesses.
Fedex Ground Package System, Inc. at 4676 Tennessee Avenue highlights the list. Andrew Watkins is listed as owner. The facility has reached the final stages of construction, and will soon open it’s doors, but no official date of opening has been announced.
According to Robert Newman, Managing Director of FedEx Ground, the facility is expected to turn over 7,300 packages per hour. This is an ongoing story. Check back for updates.
