Cream City dates back to the late 1940’s

Cookeville – Everyone has seen the Cream City sign illuminating the WestSide in Cookeville. If you haven’t, you should drop by. It is a calling card for the city and a landmark for those just passing through.

Recently, Cream City celebrated the 10-Year anniversary of its new owners, Chris and Karen Savage. In 2013, the duo bought Cream City and the delicious ice cream and ambiance never missed a beat. If anything, it has only improved.

“Congratulations to the Savage’s on their ownership anniversary,” said the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of commerce in a statement. “Thank you for keeping this Cookeville staple thriving!”

Cream City will have specials all monthlong in celebration. For more information visit them at www.creamcitycookeville.com. Located at 119 W. Broad Street in Cookeville, operating hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
