“Focusing on patient safety is our top-priority every day.” – Buffy Key, CRMC CEO

Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC) says they support a continuous focus on safe care.

To “sustain the year-round efforts of CRMC’s healthcare providers, leadership and staff,” CRMC will set aside time March 10-16 to “highlight important patient safety issues, spread awareness about patient safety, recognize ongoing patient safety initiatives and commit to effective community efforts during Patient Safety Awareness Week.”

“At Cookeville Regional, focusing on patient safety is our top-priority every day. During National Patient Safety week, we look forward to bringing awareness on the importance of patient safety,” said Buffy Key, CEO at CRMC. “To work effectively, we must provide care in a kind and collaborative environment.”

CRMC says they encourage patients and family members to be involved in the care process and ask, “How can we work together to make my care safer?”

“Because we are all safer when we work together,” according to CRMC.
