Covenience giant purchased Minit Mart on South Jefferson in Cookeville

Cookeville – The Upper Cumberland Business Journal has learned that large Midwestern convenience store Casey’s has purchased Minit Mart at 1110 South Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville and will look to establish a footprint in the city.

According to sources, Casey’s purchased the location last month. There is no timeline yet on remodeling or reopening.

Caseys began in 1968 as a general store in Boone, Iowa. In the years that followed, the convenience giant known for its Pizza (it is the fifth largest chain in America) has expanded its footprint across the nation to 16 states and more than 2,400 stores.

“Yet our focus will never waiver from being the friendly face who brews your first cup of coffee to greeting you with a smile on your last stop after work,” according to Casey’s. “While we continuously aim to create innovative services and offerings, we’ll always stay true to making life better for our communities and guests every day.”
