TSBDC to host small business seminar

 

COOKEVILLE – The Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) will host a free online small business web seminar Sept. 12 for individuals interested in starting their own small business.

“Is Starting a Business for You?” will be a live, online seminar being presented from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12. The seminar will address topics of interest to individuals considering starting a business.

The seminar will cover what personality traits make good entrepreneurs, building a support team, integrating business ownership with your life, business startup basics, business structures, challenges for startups, business planning, cash needs, financing options, and more.

The event is free but registration is required and can be completed by visiting www.tsbdc.org/ttu/ or by calling (931) 372-3648.

Located in the heart of the Upper Cumberland, the Cookeville TSBDC office serves the counties of Clay, DeKalb, Fentress, Jackson, Pickett, Putnam, Smith, and White.

Serving these local communities, the Cookeville TSBDC office provides small business start-up services and existing business assistance including, but not limited to: business plan development, financial planning assistance, marketing plan development, sources of capital, and social media guidance.
