TORNADO RELIEF: U.S. Cellular providing assistance

COOKEVILLE U.S. Cellular is actively providing resources to residents in Cookeville and the surrounding communities who have been impacted by the recent tornadoes. 

The company is providing free Wi-Fi, chargers (wall and car), and portable power packs at the U.S. Cellular store located at 770 S Jefferson Ave. in Cookeville.

U.S. Cellular is also offering free phone chargers and portable battery packs while supplies last at the Red Cross shelter at the Cookeville First Baptist Church.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Additionally, to ensure that customers can continue to use their phone as needed, U.S. Cellular is offering free voice, text and data for customers in the impacted area through March 6.

U.S. Cellular is committed to helping and serving the communities where its associates live and work. The company has donated $5,000 to local American Red Cross efforts. Customers are able to donate $10 to the American Red Cross relief efforts by texting “Redcross” to 90999 and replying with “Yes.” The charge will be added to their bill.
