TNECD to host Regional Opportunity Zones Forum

NASHVILLE–The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Tennessee Small Business Development Center and Tennessee State University, will host a Regional Opportunity Zones Forum Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. at Tennessee State University in Nashville. 

The forum, titled “New Developments in Opportunity Zones,” will cover topics including regulations for operating businesses as investment opportunities, the potential of using publicly owned property located within Opportunity Zone census tracts as OZ projects, what state resources are available to assist with marketing projects, and others.

The event will feature a collection of OZ projects and local and national resource providers and highlight discussions about operating businesses in Opportunity Zones.
