TRACKSIDE will offer six food trucks and a communal area

Cookeville – Former Cookeville Mayor and owner of Shelton Consulting Solutions Ricky Shelton and his wife Shannon have announced they are opening a food truck park on the WesSide of Cookeville this fall. The experience is set to be a “completely different, family friendly” experience.

“Shannon and I are excited to announce we are opening the regions first food truck park, TRACKSIDE, October 13,” said Shelton in a statement.

TRACKSIDE – Coming in October to Cookeville’s WestSide.

Trackside will look to provide six food trucks and a communal area for people to eat and socialize in a “fun and casual environment with games and entertainment.” It is located on a railroad yard close to the depot in Cookeville on Broad Street, according to the Facebook post.

“Cookeville and the WestSide is already becoming a food hub,” said Shelton, “with great restaurants and chefs. This will bring even more people to the area. We are creating a small business ecosystem where Trackside can help them grow and sustain their own small business.”
