Global Supply Chain Services company selects Tennessee for two new facilities, creating nearly 60 new jobs

Share Logistics (SL) officially announced the company will locate new operations in both Hawkins and Sullivan Counties. The project will allow SL to centralize logistics for its client, Accoya USA, which manufactures high performance and sustainable wood building products from its plant in Kingsport.

“What happens in rural Tennessee matters to all Tennesseans, and I thank Share Logistics for their investment in our state. Their commitment to creating nearly 60 new jobs across Northeast Tennessee will create greater opportunity for families in Hawkins and Sullivan Counties,” said Governor Bill Lee.

The company will invest nearly $400,000 across the two locations, creating at least 21 new jobs in Surgoinsville and 36 new jobs in Kingsport within the next five years.

“Appointing Share Logistics as our long-term strategic supply chain partner was a logical choice. They already have a long-standing service relationship and track record with Accsys’ and hence are very familiar with our products and related processes. Furthermore, they have a strong presence in North America and can offer us a truly integrated service offering,” said Rod Graf, General Manager of Accoya USA.

Tennessee is the fifth state that SL has expanded to nationally, joining Georgia, Texas, Florida and New Jersey.

“We are honored to be appointed by a company like Accoya USA and are looking forward to supporting the company in realizing its growth ambitions for the North American market. Having our own local dedicated presence, in addition to our global team and network, is the key to providing a best-in-class integrated service offering,” according to Tristan Bierenbroodspot, Group CEO of Share Logistics.
