Appointments Encouraged As Final 2026 Saturday Service Event Nears
(UCBJ) – The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) says select Taxpayer Assistance Centers (TACs) nationwide will be open Saturday, June 27, for the agency’s final Saturday service event of 2026, which includes Nashville Taxpayer Assistance Center, located at 801 Broadway in the city
Participating TACs will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will provide in-person assistance on a variety of tax-related issues. Taxpayers can visit IRS.gov/SaturdayHours before visiting an office to confirm participating locations, available services and appointment availability.
During the one-day event, cash payments will not be accepted. According to the IRS, more than 13,000 taxpayers have received in-person assistance at TACs nationwide since the agency launched Saturday service hours earlier this year.
The event is the final opportunity in 2026 for taxpayers to visit a participating TAC on the weekend. The IRS says appointment times fill quickly and encourages taxpayers seeking assistance to schedule an appointment ASAP.
