COOKEVILLE – Becker’s Hospital Review, a monthly publication of business, legal news and analysis related to hospitals and health systems, has published its 2014 edition of “100 Great Community Hospitals,” and Cookeville Regional Medical Center (CRMC) was on the list.
The list is based on hospitals’ accolades, quality of care and services provided to patient populations, Becker’s said in a release. The hospitals featured have fewer than 550 beds and minimal teaching programs. Some are suburban hospitals, but many are located in rural areas.
CRMC was the only hospital listed in the Upper Cumberland and only one of two in the state, including Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.
