Local Whiskey Festival to benefit CRMC Foundation

COOKEVILLE– The largest annual Whiskey Festival in the Upper Cumberland is scheduled for this Friday, Sept. 27. Now in its third year, the Cookeville Whiskey Festival has grown to include over a dozen vendors representing hundreds of brands and varieties of whiskey, scotch and bourbon.

Guests may enjoy tasting samples of brands likePappy Van Winkle, Basil Hayden’s, Blantons, Elmer T Lee, George T Stagg, Lagavulin, Old Forester, Thomas H Handy, Stagg, William Larue Weller and dozens of other fine brands.

The festival will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Duck Pond Manor, 665 Duck Pond Road. The tasting event will also include fine wine, craft beer and great food selections. 

Whiskey tasting tickets are $100 per person in advance, and $125 per person at the door. Guests interested in only wine, beer and food may purchase a $35 ticket. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed entrance. Guests are asked to please bring a photo I.D. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundations Pediatric Programs.

Limited complimentary shuttle service will be available 5 – 9 p.m., back and forth to Duck Pond Manor from the parking lots at the corner of West Second Street and North Cedar Avenue in Cookeville. The Whiskey Festival is made possible by sponsors Happy Hour Wine and Liquor, and Andrea and Terry Burckhard-agents with New York Life.
