Jarden Consumer Solutions employees donate $10,000 to Warren County Home Delivery Meals

MCMINNVILLE – Jarden Consumer Solutions (JCS) recently announced that its employee-funded JCS Community Fund donated $10,000 to Warren County Home Delivery Meals, a Tennessee-based organization delivering meals on wheels to elderly and handicapped members of the Warren County community. Funds donated by the JCS Community Fund will be used to provide hot or frozen meals up to seven days a week.

“JCS Community Fund employees are devoted to supporting community development where they live and work,” Rocki Rockingham, JCS vice president of community relations and communications, said. “Through their participation and charitable contributions to the Fund, employees are making a positive impact on their community and neighbors, helping to improve quality of life for those who need it most.”

The JCS Community Fund is committed to providing essential services and opportunities to at-risk youth, women and families in communities where JCS employees live and work, and has donated more than $5 million across the country since its creation in 2004.

During the fourth quarter of 2014, the JCS Community Fund also provided donations to organizations in California ($15,000), Mississippi ($14,000), Missouri ($17,470) and South Florida ($143,350). In total, the JCS Community Fund approved grants totaling $199,820 in the fourth quarter of 2014.
