WestSide Scoreboard Bar & Grill (WSBG), the city’s newest addition to the historic WestSide, recently hosted its grand opening celebration at 102 North Cedar Avenue with the Cookeville–Putnam County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber).
“Catch all the game-day action (or just a fun night out) with multiple TVs, mouth-watering burgers, homemade wing sauces and more much,” according to the Chamber.

“We had a great event today with lots of elected officials and other members of the community who came by to wish us well and check out what we’ve done to the place. We appreciate everyone who came out today,” according to WSBG management in a statement. “People often ask me why I wanted to open a sports bar. Well, it’s something I always wanted to do and frankly we needed a place to watch (and listen) to sports in Cookeville. A place with great food and drinks and was just a cool place to hang out with your friends that you could bring your family and not have to choke on smoke. So, when this space here on the WestSide came available I just couldn’t pass up the chance to make that dream a reality.”
