No official opening date has been announced
Sandbaggers Steakhouse and Lounge (SSL) is scheduled to open in March on Confederate Road near Peavine Rd. in Crossville at the location formerly housed Megabites and 3 Italians, according to a statement by the restaurant.
Country Kitchen owner and Realtor Bruce Cannon along with Jeanne Cannon are the owners.
“We’re almost ready to open our doors, and we couldn’t be more excited!” according to the statement. “The finishing touches are coming together, and soon, you’ll be able to experience the perfect blend of mouthwatering steaks, handcrafted cocktails and a welcoming atmosphere.”

Renovations for the building began last December.
“Renovations are underway as we work to transform this space into a warm, inviting spot where you’ll enjoy the finest steaks, delicious sides and a truly unforgettable dining experience,” said ownership at the time.
No official opening date has been announced but check back for updates.
