Daniel Tiger and WCTE’s Mobile Production Unit Among This Year’s Attractions
(UCBJ) – WCTE PBS is set for its annual Stations of Imagination at Fall Fun Fest this year on Saturday, Sept. 12, according to a release by the station.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and feature Daniel Tiger (DT), from the PBS KIDS show “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,” roaming from place to place. Free family-friendly activities, games and crafts will be offered throughout the day. Booths will be set up on Jefferson and Broad streets, beside the Cookeville Courthouse on the Square.
DT will be available for meet-and-greets and photo opportunities.
“… And the WCTE Mobile Production Unit will be open for tours and demonstrations,” according to WCTE.
“We are so ecstatic that we are able to continue to bring Stations of Imagination back year after year. Lots of your favorite activities will be making a comeback, and there will be some new ones as well! We hope everyone is able to come out and have a wonderful time,” says Samia Anderson, Education & Engagement Coordinator for WCTE.
WCTE is partnering with Cookeville CityScape for the event.
Kids from 2 to 12 will find educational opportunities including STEAM activities “aligned with PBS’s Ready to Learn educational initiatives,” according to the release.
