July Fees Total $31,636 for Building Codes Department
(UCBJ) – Putnam County construction is still at a steady pace in July, with 34 permits issued for $8 million in construction, according to county figures. 20 were for new single-family homes, up from July 2025.
During that month last year, the county issued 27 permits for $7.2 million in construction, with 14 of those for new single-family homes.
“July permits generated $31,636 in fees which operates the Building Codes Department. Remember these are numbers for Putnam County that do not include any of the four cities,” Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter.
