COOKEVILLE – WCTE will host a special dinner highlighting the traditions of Julia Child.  This fundraising dinner, to support WCTE, will be an incredible evening featuring a six-course meal paired with French inspired wines, a step back in time with some of the best nostalgic videos of Julia, and interesting stories connecting this cooking icon to people in our area.  Seven Senses and Blue Rooster Canteen Executive Chef Chad Combs, who was inspired by Julia in his younger days, is excited to create delightful dishes using her ideas and techniques.

This event will take place at the Putnam Room (formerly The Cooke House) located at 319 E. Spring St. in Cookeville on Thursday, Aug. 23 beginning at 6pm. Tickets are $99 per person and available online at wcte.org/events/julia-child-inspired-dinner/ or stop by the offices of WCTE at 229 E. Broad St. to make your reservations.

Seating is limited, so you are encouraged to act quickly to reserve your seat.

Julia once said, “Life itself is the proper binge,” so treat yourself and don’t miss this outstanding event with WCTE!
