Company showcases Dispatch Dock platform designed for unmanned aerial systems used in public safety and defense operations
(UCBJ) – Valinor Dispatch, a subsidiary of Valinor Enterprises, has officially opened its research, development and manufacturing facility in Cookeville off Browns Mill Road.
The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) was on hand for the event.
“Earlier this week, we had the opportunity to officially announce that Valinor Dispatch, a subsidiary of Valinor Enterprises, has officially opened its research, development, and manufacturing facility in Cookeville off Browns Mill Road! This marks a significant expansion of advanced technology operations in our region,” according to the Chamber.
The company’s focus is the Dispatch Dock, a platform that allows unmanned aerial systems to launch.
The platform also “… Recharge and operate continuously in the field without manual intervention. The technology is designed to address critical operational challenges for law enforcement, first responders, search and rescue teams and military operations,” according to the Chamber.
Why Putnam County?
Valinor Dispatch says Putnam’s strong manufacturing workforce and its ties to Tennessee Tech University made for a perfect match. After all, a Tennessee Tech graduate is now leading the company.
