85% of proceeds from each event will benefit Open Heart Rescue and Shriners Children’s Hospital
(UCBJ) – Peacock Tea Room (PTR), located at 1310 Walter Reed Road, has officially opened its doors in Cookeville. The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce was on hand to celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The venue is a private event facility “inspired by the timeless tradition of afternoon tea” and offers an “intimate and elegant setting” for:
- Bridal luncheons
- Birthday celebrations
- Bible studies
- Private gatherings
“Guests are welcome to bring their own catering and can enjoy outdoor seating on the Veranda or pool patio when the weather allows. And the full Peacock Tea Room experience is still to come, so stay tuned for what is ahead,” according to the Chamber.
Founder Cheryl Vick said the grand opening marks the beginning of a larger vision for PTR.
“With every event, 85% of proceeds go directly to Open Heart Rescue and Shriners Children’s Hospital, supporting rescue animals and children in need around the world. Congratulations to founder Cheryl Vick on officially opening the doors and bringing this beautiful vision to life,” according to the Chamber. “Think dressing up, slowing down, and spending a beautiful afternoon with great company.”
