Depot offers a charming and memorable setting for community events

The restaurant “brings a piece of rail history back to life, offering a charming and memorable setting for community events,” according to the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce, which was on hand for the event.

“Today we celebrated the grand opening of The Southwind – Monterey Depot’s Dining Car, a fully restored 1940s Santa Fe dining car now open for private parties and gatherings in the heart of Monterey.
