COOKEVILLE – Tennessee Tech is hitting the road this March with visits planned across the state tied to the special Tech to You series.
“These events bring all the excitement and energy of being on campus to the students’ hometown,” said Director of Admissions Steve Keller. “We have designed these events for high school students and families that can’t necessarily come to an open house or campus visit. Instead, we bring Tech to them. Our admissions counselors set up at a local venue with plenty of information about the university and are ready to assist with answering questions or getting students started on the application to admission.”
The Tech to You event series kicks off on March 17 in Chattanooga with admissions staff next traveling to Knoxville on March 21. An additional stop includes March 29 in Mount Juliet. Students and their families can register to attend by visiting tntech.edu/techtoyou.
“We also want to let everyone know there is still time to apply for admission for next fall,” added Keller. “If students have been on the fence about their college choices, we want to make sure they know all about Tennessee Tech and about the best value we offer for them to continue their education and go on for a great career.”
Tennessee Tech is ranked as a “Best National University” by U.S. News & World Report. The university offers more than 200-plus programs of study, and Tech grads leave with the least debt of all public universities in the state. In fact, based on total cost and alumni earnings, Tech provides students with the highest return on investment for any public university in Tennessee, according to PayScale.
