Unless you have been living under a rock for the last few years, you’re likely familiar with the name “Willow Window.” The owners, Jonathan and Britney Norris, designed the business to be an essential part of the community. Their passion for serving God, the people of Upper Cumberland, and their employees shines through from the moment you meet them.

Jonathan, well-acquainted with the window business, was a young child when his father opened the original Willow Window in 1981 in Willoughby, Ohio. Fast forward more than two decades, and you’ll find Jonathan and Britney prayerful, looking to the future with an entrepreneurial focus after his father sold the original business. With this solid passion for ownership, the couple decided to open a retail store on Willow south of I-40 in 2013, feeling that God had greater plans for Willow Window and their impact on the community.

Over the years, Willow Window has experienced remarkable growth, enabling it to open a stunning showroom at its current location at 310 Newman Dr, just off Willow Avenue. This expansive, breathtaking space was designed with the community in mind. As visitors ascend the stairs, it feels like they’re stepping into a family room complete with a large, 12-person dining table.

The familial atmosphere extends beyond the showrooms and has infused the entire business. When asked to describe the company culture of Willow Window in one word, Jonathan immediately responded, “Godly,” without any hesitation.

One aspect of the company that both Jonathan and Britney take pride in is that they have never had to seek out employees. “We’ve always had the right people show up and find the right fit for them,” Britney said, beaming.

The couple feels honored to lead the Willow Window family they have built. Jonathan also takes great joy in having his employees as installers—something almost unheard of in the construction industry.

“Often, service guys come into a home and aren’t concerned about making a mess or taking care of the property. We will leave your home in better condition than when we arrived,” he reflected, smiling.

When asked about their plans, Jonathan and Britney felt hesitant to answer in detail but instead expressed their commitment to keeping their hearts open to God’s plan and how it aligns with the community.  They enjoy seeing their three sons, Ethan (23), Cooper (14), and Buck (5), getting involved in the business and are excited to see them find their roles in Willow Window.

Jonathan and Britney Norris look forward to having their showroom serve as an asset for the people of Cookeville and aim to continue providing customer-first, expert service to the residents of Upper Cumberland.
