Hamilton Turns Passion for Everyday Beauty Into New Downtown Business
(UCBJ) – Mara Mae’s, located at 34 N. Jefferson Ave., recently celebrated its grand opening in Downtown Cookeville.
The shop is located inside a yellow cottage and offers curated gifts, including:
- Antiques
- Home decor
- Kitchen wares
- Self-care items
- Children’s finds
- Gifts
Mara Mae’s is owned by Dani Hamilton, who created the shop as a reflection of her passion for “romanticizing everyday life.” Items are hand-selected and sourced from ethical makers and fellow small businesses, according to the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce.
“Every corner of the shop reflects that intention,” according to the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce.
Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter also congratulated Hamilton and her family on the opening.
“Owner Dani Hamilton has created something special,” according to a statement by Putnam County Mayor Randy Porter.
