Event will begin run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Leslie Towne Centre

On Tuesday Aug. 27, the Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual State of Local Government address. The event will begin run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Leslie Towne Centre in Cookeville.

Admission for chamber members is $20 while non-members will pay $25.

“Don’t miss our exciting ‘State of Local Government’ address, where you’ll hear firsthand from the Putnam County Mayor and the City Mayors of Algood, Baxter, Cookeville and Monterey,” according to the Chamber. “Get the latest insights and key updates directly from the leaders who shape our communities. Enjoy a delicious lunch and connect with others who care about the future of our region. This is your chance to stay informed and engaged. Reserve your spot today.”

The community is invited to submit questions to be asked during the event. Submissions will be accepted until 3 p.m. Aug. 22.
