“Save the dates!” That’s the message from Tennessee Tech Athletics as their annual Pepsi Golden Eagle Bobby Nichols Scramble presented by Michelob Ultra returns for its 47th year in 2026. The popular three-day golf fundraiser will take place June 5 to 7 at Golden Eagle Golf Club and White Plains Golf Course.
The event, which began in 1980 and has grown into one of the region’s largest and most popular golf tournaments, drawing hundreds of participants each year, will span three days from Friday, June 5, through Sunday, June 7.
“Reservations will officially open at 9 a.m. Monday, April 6. No reservations will be accepted or taken before April 6. No spots will be held without full payment at the time of reservation,” according to the release.
The entry fee is $600 per two-man team, but golfers can also purchase an all-inclusive tournament contest package for $65 per player during registration.
“This package allows players to be pre-entered into all tournament contests by showing their card at qualifying,” according to the release.
Only 320 players will be in the field. In 2025, it filled quickly, so apply early.
“All participants are encouraged to sign up April 6 to secure their spot,” according to the release. “The 2025 tournament featured another sold-out field and enjoyed three fun-filled and competitive days of golf at one of the largest and most popular golf events in the region. Several improvements have been made over the last few years to the annual fundraiser for Tennessee Tech Athletics, and the department aims to keep making the event better each year,” according to the release
More details on the 2026 tournament will be announced soon.
