Crossville – The American Job Center (AJC) will soon co-host a hiring event in Crossville. According to a release, the event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m March 12. p.m. at 910 Miller Ave., Bldg. 1.

“All students will be encouraged to participate in the hiring event and the public will be invited to participate,” according to a release. “Our mission is to bring the residents of Cumberland County and surrounding counties employment opportunities and information on community resources available.

You can RSVP by emailing walter.wyatt@tn.gov no later than Feb.19. Space is limited.

The AJC is designed to provide a full range of assistance to job seekers and employers under one roof. The AJC offers training referrals, career counseling, job listings and similar employment-related services. They can also learn about programs that can help cover the cost of child care, uniforms, transportation and other barriers that can keep a person out of the workforce.
