New business licenses up for the month
Putnam County – During the second month of 2024, Putnam County saw 65 new businesses licensed.
That number almost doubled the 33 total business licensed in December of 2023 when the holiday season slowed down licensing, according to new numbers by Putnam County Clerk Wayne Nabors.
Licenses trended up from a year ago (new business listings in Feb. 2023 sat at 62).
Last month there were 42 manufacturing/service businesses and 23 new retail business licensed. Traveling Pumpkin, LLC is among the list’s highlights. Check out the list, and while you are at it check out last February’s list HERE.
