Project has been long awaited

Last week, Twin Lakes Telephone Cooperative Corporation (TL) held a ribbon cutting on its new customer care facility in Byrdstown across from the Pickett County post office. TL already had a small office space in the county, but wanted to grow in the area.

The Byrdstown-Pickett County Chamber of Commerce was on hand for the March 29 celebration. TL is a broadband, TV security and phone service Cooperative that began in March 1951.

“We strive to bring you the best in technology services,” according to the company.

Owned by “member subscribers,” TL serves Baxter, Byrdstown, Celina, Chestnut Mound, Clarkrange, Cookeville South, Crawford, Gainesboro, Granville, Highland, Jamestown, Livingston, Moss, North Springs and Rickman.

TL is open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the Byrdstown office closed from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch. 24/7 support is available at support@twlakes.net, and customer service anytime is available at customerservice@twinlakes.net.
