Schwanke is a fourth-generation florist and a trusted voice in the floral industry

WCTE PBS is offering viewers a chance at a meet and greet with one of the most nationally acclaimed floral design experts, J Schwanke, TV host and producer of Life in Bloom as seen on the PBS and Create channels nationwide.

Schwanke will also present a “floral demonstration” as a part of a luncheon Wednesday, March 20 at the River Community Church, according to an announcement by WCTE.

“This floral event will showcase the beauty of J Schwanke arrangements along with tips and tricks anyone can use with their own arrangements,” said WCTE.

Doors will open at 11:15 for the meet and greet, and guests can hang out till 2 p.m. and watch the demonstration of three arrangements by Schwanke and a provided lunch.

“Join WCTE PBS to enjoy an afternoon with a nationally recognized host, author and floral arranger,” says WCTE.

According to the release, J Schwanke is a fourth-generation florist and a trusted voice in the floral industry.

“His TV show “Life in Bloom” and website offer flower fans accessible ways to learn and experience the fun of flowers and flower arranging 24/7,” according to WCTE.

Schwanke is the author of “Fun with Flowers – Your Bloom 365 Guide to Selecting, Arranging and Enjoying Beautiful Flowers,” published in 2014, which received a Living Now Book Award.
