Facility Will House Therapy, Psychiatry, Medication Management, Care Coordination

(UCBJ) – Mental Health Cooperative recently held its official ribbon-cutting for the new 8,000-square-foot facility at 979 Patriot Way in Cookeville. According to the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber), the facility will give the organization additional space to provide whole-person care throughout the Upper Cumberland.

The organization celebrated the opening Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new location. The expanded facility provides:

  • Therapy and psychiatry
  • Medication management
  • Care coordination
  • Assistance with basic needs and home visits

“We want to take care of the whole person. We are geared to connect you to the services you need,” said Interim CEO Dr. Corey Cronrath.

According to the Chamber, that focus on whole-person care remains central to MHC’s work.

“That commitment remains at the heart of MHC’s work, ensuring no one has to navigate their journey alone,” according to the Chamber. “Congratulations to the MHC team on their new Cookeville home!”

“At Mental Health Cooperative, we know that life’s hardest challenges rarely come one at a time,” according to the company. “Many people face mental health or substance use struggles while also trying to keep food on the table, secure housing or navigate confusing insurance systems. That’s why MHC exists – to make the whole journey easier.”
