The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need

COOKEVILLE- Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) located off North Washington Avenue is packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child as part of their Q4 charitable donations. This has become an annual tradition for the staff and one the team looks forward to each year.

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need. Shoebox gifts are filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for children around the world. Since 1993, more than 200 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox.

For many children, this is first gift they’ve ever received.

“I love kids and wanted to continue supporting Operation Christmas Child this holiday season. Knowing we’re making a difference around the world is important to me,” said Office Manager Katie Eldridge. “This is a tradition I want to pass down to my daughter.”
