HRBC features used and rare books and antiques and a live music venue

Cookeville – Harper’s Rare Books and Collectibles (HRBC) is celebrating its reopening in Cookeville at 41 W. Broad Street in Cookeville Dec. 1 at 3:30 p.m.

“Join us as we celebrate the grand re-opening of Harper’s Rare Books & Collectibles, along with Harper’s Soundstage and Et Cetera at 39 West Gallery Dec. 1,” said the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber).

HRBC features used and rare books and antiques, vintage vinyl records and clothing. It also features a live music venue and an art gallery.

“The Soundstage is located at the back of Harper’s Rare Books & Collectibles,” said HRBC on Facebook. “Lounge on the floor on the big cotton balls on shag carpet or kick back in our mid-century modern chairs or the former TWA airport lounge seating of soft wool in bright red.”

It’s a fully integrated retail, hospitality and entertainment experience. A reception will follow the ribbon cutting.

“We’re a work in progress as we plan for an amazing Small Business Saturday on November 25,” said HRBC.

HRBC says they will “fully open” a “week or two” after the Grand reopening. They will then have daily hours. For more information call (931) 651-2013, visit HERE or hang out on social media on Facebook.
