Ribbon cutting and grand opening set for July 17 at new South Jefferson Avenue location
(UCBJ) – The Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) is hosting Glammy’s Cheesecakes grand opening with a ribbon-cutting on Friday, July 17 at 10 a.m. at 565 S. Jefferson Ave., Suite C. The event marks the company’s expansion from a popular food truck into a permanent storefront in Cookeville.
“Owner Sherry Anderson has been delighting the Upper Cumberland with her gourmet cheesecakes at local events and pop-ups, and now the community will have a permanent spot to visit in between,” According to the Chamber.
The new takeout location will feature:
- individual slices
- whole cheesecakes with delicious toppings
- dipped cheesecake slices
- frozen dipped bananas
- cheesecake parfaits, with rotating flavors “that are always worth coming back for.”
“To top it all off, Glammy’s offers cold brew coffee too as a little something to sip on! Grab a slice of cheesecake and celebrate Glammy’s exciting next step with us,” according to the Chamber.
Community members are invited to attend the ribbon cutting and celebrate this milestone.
