Market for spray foam insulation, an alternative to traditional insulation such as glass and metal
On May 17, Lish Foam Insulators (LFI) is hosting a ribbon cutting at its new location at 12 River Road in South Carthage. The Smith County Chamber of Commerce will be on hand.
“For more than five decades, the Lish family has been deeply rooted in the insulation industry,” said the Chamber. The market for spray foam insulation, an alternative to traditional insulation such as glass and metal, has significantly over the last few years and is estimated to account for $ 1,910.4M in 2022.
The insulation is commonly installed in new construction, renovation and retrofit and, with its “proven Thermal protection,” solves problems related to building insulation design, according to futuremarketinsights.com.

“A common application for spray foam insulation is the commercial and industrial roof and wall insulation,” according to the website. “Spray foam insulation uses less wall space than other materials. It complies with codes and completely fills the wall, saving energy and money. Over time, spray foam solutions reduce repair and maintenance costs for a wide variety of infrastructure. Furthermore, spray foam insulation is used in engineering solutions for foundations, buildings, roads and concrete repair.
The Chamber LFI’s timing is perfect.
“Now, with the rising popularity of spray foam insulation, they (LFI) saw a golden opportunity to jump back in – but with a fresh perspective,” said the Chamber. “Come share in the excitement at their Ribbon Cutting and open house located at their new office/shop.”
The ribbon cutting will take place from 11 a.m to 12:30 p.m. May 17 at 132 River Road in South Carthage. Drawings for door prizes and refreshments will be provided.
