Cookeville – Young athletes in Cookeville who are interested in cheerleading will soon have another option as to where to hone their craft. Empire Elite athletics will soon be opening the doors to a new chapter.
Sunday night, Empire celebrated the announcement with a halloween launch party. Students joined them for costumes, games and fun. Instructors, most formerly of Power Athletics, will help usher in the future with a new location and mission. A business address or phone number has not yet been announced, but they will look to continue with weekly tumbling, cheerleading and stunts.
“We had a GREAT turnout at our Halloween/launch party,” according to the Empire Athletics Facebook page. “We had trick or treating and costume contests and so so so much fun! Huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported the announcement of our new gym Empire Elite Athletics.”
