Gifts made to a patient assistance fund or charitable program at the Foundation will be matched dollar-for-dollar

Cookeville – Double Your Donation Day for Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation is Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023.

Gifts made to a patient assistance fund or charitable program at the Foundation will be matched dollar-for-dollar.

“This is one the largest giving day for the Charitable Foundation,” said John Bell, Foundation director. “A $20 gift becomes $40 to help a local patient; a $100 gift becomes $200 and so on. It is a wonderful way to have double the impact helping a neighbor dealing with a health crisis.”

Double your donation day.

Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation helps several thousand residents of the Upper Cumberland each year who are suffering with disease, sickness or injury. Foundation frequently assists struggling patients with things like medication, medical services, transportation, medical equipment, groceries, utilities and other critical medical or home needs.

All those requests are reviewed, and the Foundation looks to its established charitable funds to see where those patient needs can be met. Those established patient assistance funds include: Heart

  • Hospice
  • Pediatric
  • Cancer
  • Diabetes
  • Mental Health and the General Assistance Fund called Caring Hands.

Established programs include:

  • Pink Ribbon
  • Lung Fund
  • Pet Therapy
  • Art for Healing
  • Community Health
  • Carmen’s Fund.

One hundred percent of donations made to the Foundation go directly to charitable programs and services that assist residents living in the 14 counties of the Upper Cumberland. No portion of gifts received are used for overhead or staff expense.

“The Foundation is unique in the fact we spend every dollar given toward a patient need,” said Bell. “We are asking you to please give what you can. Your gift will then be matched and go to help neighbors facing a health emergency today. Every dollar counts.”

Gifts made as a part of Double Your Donation Day will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $30,000. Gifts may be made online at www.CookevilleRegionalCharity.org, over the phone at 931-783-2003 or by sending a check to CRMC Foundation, 1 Medical Center Blvd., Cookeville TN 38501 with a date of Nov. 14 indicated on the check.
