Registration Event Features Family Activities, Studio Tours and Teacher Meet-and-Greet
(UCBJ) – Livingston Dance Studio (LDS) has opened the doors to its new location at 109 Mountain Road in Livingston. To celebrate, the studio and the Livingston-Overton County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) held a ribbon-cutting and the studio’s 2026-2027 Registration Day, which invited families to tour the new studio, meet the teaching staff and explore class offerings.
According to the Chamber, this was a full-circle moment for owner Elizabeth Melton.
“Thirty years ago, Elizabeth Melton walked into her first dance class right here in Livingston. Today, she’s opening the doors of her brand-new studio to the next generation of dancers. That’s a full circle moment worth celebrating!” the Chamber said.
Registration Day was yesterday and featured:
- bounce houses for children
- a food truck
- a flower bar
- swag bags for the first 100 students who register
