Crossville – On Sept. 1 Chick-fil-A opened a restaurant in Crossville. Since that day, traffic has been steady into the restaurant with lines feeding onto N. Main St., parking at full capacity and happy customers exiting the front doors. At the time, the restaurant joined more than 20 other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving the wider Knoxville and Upper Cumberland market.
Independent franchise owner and operator Derek Allen told the Upper Cumberland Business Journal (UCBJ) the response they have received in Crossville has been great.
“I’m excited about the support we have received from the community with the opening of Chick-fil-A Crossville.,” said Allen to the UCBJ.
According to Chick-fil-A inc., they do not publicly dispose earning numbers, but said, “we are thrilled with the response from customers following the opening of Crossville’s first Chick-fil-A restaurant. The passion for delicious food in a welcoming environment has exceeded our expectations.”
Allen, in true Chick-fil-A fashion, brought it back to the customers.
“We’ve received strong customer feedback so far,” he continued. “I look forward to continuing to build my team and providing excellent service for all guests.”
Last month, Allen said the most important part of his job is the customer and the employee. It means a little more because he is a native of the area.
“I look forward to giving back and adding value to the community I grew up in …,” said Allen. “It is my hope that our restaurant not only provides high-quality food and service, but also offers a place where Team Members and guests feel supported, welcomed and cared for.”
