Take what you need. Give what you can.
Roaring River Cultural Alliance Art Mart recently celebrated its grand opening in Jackson County, and the Macon County Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) was on hand for the event.
“We had the best time celebrating the Grand Opening of Roaring River Cultural Alliance’s Art Mart! Be sure to swing by and check it out soon,” according to the Chamber.
Brought to you by the Roaring River Cultural Alliance, the Art Mart is a new arts and crafts thrift store located at 104 Montpelier Avenue.
“As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Roaring River Cultural Alliance believes that creativity should be accessible to everyone, which is why you won’t find any price tags at The Art Mart. Everything in the store is made possible through the generous donations of our community,” according to the Chamber.
It’s novel. According to the Chamber, here is how it works:
- Take what you need
- Give what you can
- Return what you don’t use — so others can create too!
“Whether you’re a seasoned artist, a curious beginner, or just love getting crafty, The Art Mart is your space to explore, share and create — without barriers,” according to the Chamber.
