COOKEVILLE – Get your team ready! The Cookeville Regional Medical Center Foundation Golf Classic will be held on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 18 and 19, at the Golden Eagle Golf Club. Proceeds from the Golf Classic will go to patient assistance funds helping residents of the Upper Cumberland struggling with disease, sickness or injury.
“This is an easy and fun way for anyone to help local patients that need support today,” said John Bell, executive director of the CRMC Foundation. “It doesn’t matter if you are a pro or if you have never played golf before, this tournament is about coming together to help local patients.”
The Golf Classic will have an 8 a.m. flight and 1 p.m. flight on both Thursday and Friday August 18 and 19. The format will be a four-person scramble. Team registration is $700 for a foursome and includes meals, tournament polo, $20,000 hole-in-one competition, sleeve of golf balls, golf-cart access, snacks and drinks.
