“Kidney stones are a big problem in this area”

Cookeville – Prostate cancer, incontinence and kidney stones are just some of the many issues urologists can treat. Learn about the symptoms of all these issues, and available treatment options, during the next Health Talks, set for Tuesday, Dec. 13, at noon on Zoom.

“Kidney stones are a big problem in this area,” said Dr. Robert Parham, the urologist who will be speaking during the last Health Talks of 2022.

Parham joined the Upper Cumberland Urology group a few months ago. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio before completing a surgical internship and urologic residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. After practicing for eight years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, he relocated to Cookeville.

With robotic surgery capabilities, he is able to do total and partial prostate removal, partial kidney removal, adrenal surgery, ureteral injury repairs and removal of kidney blockages.

He will speak about incontinence issues both males and females experience. Bring your questions and learn how your health can benefit from Health Talks.
