Baxter Distribution Center Leader Recognized For Contributions To Recreational Boating Industry

(UCBJ) – Tonya Jared, manager of distribution center sales and operations at HydroHoist Boat Lifts in Baxter and a Tennessee Tech University graduate, has been named a 2026 “Women Making Waves” honoree by Boating Industry magazine. The award recognizes women who “have made significant contributions to the recreational boating industry.”

HydroHoist, founded in 1964, is part of Waterfront Brands, which designs and manufactures watercraft lifts, docks and related accessories.

HydroHoist’s portfolio includes:

  • Neptune Boat Lifts

The company also manufactures products ranging from personal watercraft lifts to yacht lifts, floating boat lifts and modular dock systems. Jared has been a key part of HydroHoist’s sales and operations for more than two decades.

“The “Women Making Waves” program, now in its 11th year, celebrates female leaders across the marine industry who drive growth and innovation within their organizations. Boating Industry magazine selects approximately 25 women annually for this honor, highlighting their impact on the sector,” according to the release.

According to the company, Jared’s recognition highlights the growing role of women in manufacturing and the marine industry.

“Her leadership has helped advance HydroHoist’s mission while supporting customers with products designed to improve the safety and longevity of watercraft,” according to the release.
